Daily Life During Your Hospital Stay
Precautions and requests
- • Admission to Ito Hospital is for the purpose of receiving treatment. During your hospital stay, you will be living with other patients.
- • Regarding daily life during hospitalization, patients may be discharged if they are unable to observe hospital regulations. Please follow all instructions from the doctors and the nurses.
- • Smoking is prohibited in all Ito Hospital facilities.
- • To maintain a safe environment, we confirm the identity of patients. Please wear your wrist band during your hospital stay. Your cooperation is appreciated.
- • Please do not bring large amounts of money or valuables with you. Please be aware that we cannot compensate you for any loss in the unlikely event that your money or valuables are lost or stolen,
- • During your hospital stay, please refrain from using cosmetics, including makeup, nail polish, and perfumes.
- • Bringing fruit knives and similar items into the hospital is prohibited.
- • Electric appliances (air cleaner, electric foot warmer, humidifier, etc.) cannot be brought into the hospital.
- • In a shared hospital room, cell phones must be set to silent mode. Excluding voice calls, cell phone use is allowed. Voice calls may be made in designated locations only. For patients staying in private rooms, voice calls are allowed in their own hospital rooms.
- • In principle, patients are not allowed to leave the hospital or stay out over night during the period of hospitalization. This policy applies to the day of admission until discharge.
- • Since nurses provide personal care for you during your hospital stay, it is not necessary to have an attendant. However, if your family wishes that an attendant be present and your doctor agrees to the necessity, an attendant may be permitted in certain cases.
- • People undergoing isotope therapy stay in the isotope therapy ward.
